Planning
Once you’ve requested a quote from Sher-Del Transfer, a project manager, who is one of our trained New Jersey commercial movers, will coordinate a date to develop an office moving plan for your New Jersey-based commercial relocation. This process includes:
- Planning which items will be relocated and which will purged
- Developing a floor plan for the new office space
- Detailing a timeline for move
- Reviewing building conditions and parking regulations.
During this process, we advise that all customers review their buildings’ insurance requirements and freight elevators must be booked ahead of the move dates in all buildings to avoid any impediment with the office move. For IT equipment, make sure that is maintained by a third party and check with leasing companies for any printers, faxes, coffee machines, water machines or any other product that is contracted out, given that they may require their own team to move items.
Execution
Upon completion of a move plan, one of our New Jersey commercial moving supervisors will arrive at your current occupied space and assist with tagging all items for relocation including computers, furniture, appliances, file banks, and boxes
Once your current location is marked and tagged, our New Jersey commercial moving supervisor will put up spot tags/placards at the new location. This will ensure that our staff is able to streamline the move and minimize logistical delays. Furthermore, this process allows your workers to find their new workspace with no difficulties.
On the day of the move, our team, including project managers and helpers, will arrive at your location to begin the process. Our team is flexible and can work around your schedule in order to eliminate any impact to your billable hours. We work quickly and decisively to keep your office move on time and within budget. Upon completion of the move out, we perform a complete walk-through with our client to ensure nothing has been left behind.
Once successfully transferring your office out of its current space, our New Jersey commercial moving team does an extensive floor and wall protection at your building new location, in accordance with its guidelines. This includes Masonite, Coroflex and corner guards to prevent any damage. Once the office move is complete, Sher-Del Transfer removes all floor and wall protection from the new office and set it everything so your staff can get back to work as soon as possible.
